Karen Malcolm is an accomplished and creative makeup artist who started working with makeup at a young age after being introduced to the world of fashion and modeling. Over the past eighteen years she has continued to pursue her love of makeup and working in diverse industries. Karen is a natural people person and helps everyone to feel the best about themselves. Education and training in the makeup industry is continually a must for Karen as she understands how important it is to identify and know the current trends. Currently a freelance makeup artist her work includes, CBC Television, film/television, commercials, music videos and print media. Some of the most recent highlights of her career have been doing makeup for Kim Cattrall of Sex and The City and Sofia Milos of CSI Miami, the Key Makeup Artist for the Banff International Television Festival, Makeup Artist for the Juno Awards and Canadian Country Music Awards. She has trained with recognizable cosmetic lines such as MAC, Jane Iredale, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique and Bobbi Brown.

Working with people is a natural joy for Karen and she feels fortunate to do be doing what she loves! She is always enthusiastic and excited about new opportunities – so she can’t wait to meet with you!
